The Painting Exhibition will be a humble yet evocative homage of the budding artists to Lord Jagannath.
Jaya Jagannath Painting Competition organized by ETV will be inaugurated on 26 July.
Governor Muralidhar Chandrakant Bhandare will inaugurate the exhibition, said Sisira Kumar Bhattamisra Chief of ETV, News Oriya Bhubaneswar on 24 July.
Venue is at the Rastriya Lalita Kala Academy, Regional Centre at Kharavela Nagar, Bhubaneswar and time is sharp at 11 AM, said he.
Paintings will be displayed from 26-31 July and will be open for all, said Mr.Bhattamisra.
ETV organized the competition from 13-23 July, which was displayed by the leading channel.
Veteran artists including Baladev Prasad Moharatha, Shiba Panigrahi and Ramahari Jena were Juries for judging the paintings of the students of the schools, colleges and other educational institutions all over the state.
Among the budding artists, Bhanu Pratap Maharatha, Parameswar Samal and Ashish Kumar Pandey has been judged for the first, second and third position.
Lord Jagannath is a unique God and his humanistic dimension culminates in his Ratha Jatra.
ETV covered the entire Jatra in a big way and now it is organizing the art show.
