If Rs.200 worth of training can yield a turn over of Rs.1 crore businesses, why you people do not learn the way ordinary people show the path.

Take the case of Sanghamitra Jena, now a successful entrepreneur in Tourism Industry of Odisha.

Sanghamitra took up a training of a tour operator by the Government of India for the cost of Rs.200.

And now she runs a business of Rs.1 crore per annum, revealed Subroto Baghchi, Chief Operating Officer of Mindtree Limited.

Mindtree is a global IT solutions company.

Mr.Bagchi was speaking here at the Xavier Institute of Management Bhubaneswar (XIMB) on 29 January in a program of CEO TALK largely attended by the students and faculty members. 

Giving out details on Sanghamitra, COO Mindtree said that after having this basic training she joined with a hotel group as Tour Guide.

Bhitarkanika is the one of the most attractive place in Odisha, known for its large population of crocodile, birds, sea turtle and mangrove forests, said Mr.Bagchi.

Now her turnover is Rs.1 crore and she is employing 10 people directly and generated large job opportunity for the local people.

She has the tremendous initiative and urge to tread in a different path, which provided her the success.

Pointing out the success story of Sanghamitra, CEO of Global IT company said she is icon of young people.

Mr.Baghchi said another example of successful initiative is Dalma in Bhubaneswar.

He said the hotel is selling simple Odia cuisines, which are gastronome’s delight.

Mr.Baghchi said big industries are not providing many jobs, where as small establishments are giving more job opportunities to people.

He asked the XIMBIANs not to waste time but to start their own initiatives with innovations.

Then they will not look back as success will be at their door step.

Mr.Baghchi said innovations will pay you in a big way and all of the XIMBIANs must strive that way.
